
Sauerkraut, red cabbage, vinegar and pickles - Kühne
The vinegar and sour market is booming – and it's been at Carl Kühne KG since 1722! The Hamburg-based family business started in the 18th century with a vinegar factory, later expanding to include mustard and mayonnaise as ready-to-use products. In 1903, pickle production began, followed two years later by sauerkraut, and in 1957, the first ready-to-eat red cabbage. The product range, still typical today, includes pickled vegetables of all kinds.
