Appel delicatessen celebrated its 145th anniversary in 2024. Since 2004, the fish and delicatessen experts have been producing canned goods with high standards directly in Cuxhaven on the North Sea: first-class and flawless ingredients, gentle manufacturing processes, hygiene and freshness requirements at the highest level - this is how the company wins the trust of its customers. Environmentally friendly and resource-saving processes are taken care of throughout production. There is a six-digit internet code on every canned fish that you can use to find out more about the processed fish - for example, where it comes from and how it was caught. In addition to herring, there are, for example, mackerel, trout or sardine fillets, tuna as well as mayonnaise, tartar sauce and seasoning sauces.
