Develey's sweet mustard for white sausage is a cult classic - since 1854!

The Bavarian mustard and delicatessen manufacturer was founded in 1845 by Johann Conrad Develey in the heart of Munich. Initially, Develey focused on producing French-style mustards—medium and hot. But in 1854, the adventurous entrepreneur invented sweet mustard by adding caramelized sugar and a special blend of spices, which, of course, remains a company secret to this day.
