Finnish chocolate and salmiakki from Fazer
Chocolate, pralines or the famous Salmiakki: Fazer is a cult brand in Scandinavia, but still relatively unknown in Germany. In 1891, the Swiss confectioner Karl Fazer opened a Russian-French café in downtown Helsinki and successfully marketed his sweets. The Fazer Group, with more than 15,000 employees, is still a Finnish family business today.
