Frigeo - the cradle of fizzy powder is located in Stuttgart-Bad Cannstatt

In 1925, Stuttgart businessman Theodor Beltle invented fizzy powder, a carbonated instant base for lemonade that simply mixes with water. With Robert Friedel, he founded the company Frigeo, which is still primarily known today for its own fizzy powder brand, Ahoj Brause. In addition to fizzy sweets and sour fruit gums, the Frigeo brand also includes glucose lollipops and sour puffed rice.
