Hanuta, the delicious hazelnut cream slice for in between

Hanuta is a delicious cocoa cream with hazelnut pieces, sandwiched between two crispy wafers. Ferrero launched Hanuta in Germany in 1959. The name is an acronym, an abbreviation of "Haselnusstafel" (Hazelnut Bar). In addition to the square wafer, there is now also an oblong chocolate bar and occasionally other filling variations, usually limited editions.
