Knorr specializes in ingredients for quick meals and ready-to-mix products: ready-made soups and sauces, bouillons, salad dressings with herb blends, and ready meals. The company was founded in 1838 by Carl Heinrich Theodor Knorr as a general store in Heilbronn, and the first factory was built the same year. Knorr has been part of Unilever since 2000.
