Daim consists of a thin, yet crunchy layer of buttery almond caramel inside, which makes its taste so special. Developed by the Swedish chocolate company Marabou, the bar was initially sold only in Scandinavia, but over the decades has become a global bestseller, reaching as far away as Japan. Today, Daim and Marabou are part of Mondelez International.
